1. Acceptance
By installing or using Break Scroll you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, don't use the app.
2. What the app does
The app helps you reduce time spent on selected social-media apps by displaying a block overlay until you complete a short physical challenge (pushups or squats) or redeem earned minutes. It is a productivity tool, not a medical, fitness, or mental health service.
3. Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old to use the app. By using it you confirm that you are.
4. Subscriptions and billing
The app offers paid subscriptions through Google Play. Prices and billing periods are shown in the app before purchase and managed by Google Play.
Welcome offer: the introductory price applies for the first 6 monthly billing cycles. After the 6th cycle the subscription automatically renews at the regular monthly price unless you cancel before the next renewal.
Cancellation: you can cancel any subscription at any time in Google Play → Profile → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions. Cancelling stops future renewals; access continues until the end of the paid period. Refunds are handled by Google Play under its policies.
5. Health and safety
Pushups and squats are physical exercise. Don't perform them if you have an injury, medical condition, or any other reason they aren't safe for you. You are responsible for your own physical safety while using the app. Stop immediately if you experience pain, dizziness, or any other warning sign, and consult a qualified professional.
6. Acceptable use
Don't use the app to harass, defraud, or harm others, reverse-engineer it, attempt to bypass billing, or use it in any way that violates applicable law.
7. Accuracy
Pushup and squat counts are produced by on-device pose detection and may miscount. Screen-time figures are estimates reported by Android. We make no promise that any number shown is exact.
8. Disclaimers
The app is provided "as is", without warranty of any kind, to the maximum extent permitted by law. We don't promise it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that it will achieve any particular outcome for you.
9. Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim arising out of or relating to the app is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages.
10. Termination
You may stop using the app at any time and delete your account from Settings. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.
11. Changes
If we materially change these terms we will update the "last updated" date and surface a notice on next app launch.
